Barefoot Beach Park - this is a great natural beach county park (10 minute drive)

Lovers Key - a state park island with no development (20 minute drive)

Bonita Beach Public Beach Access Main Lot (10 minute drive) - then continue down the road to 10 more access lots to the end of the island with another large lot

Bonita Springs Parks - Pool (5 minute walk) Riverside Park (3 minute drive or walkable)

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary - wildlife preserve with over 2 miles of boardwalk through the swamp (45 minute drive from anywhere)

Everglades National Park - (45 minute drive)

Fakahatchee Strand - our favorite for hiking - check in with the ranger for trail info - (45 minute drive)

Art Galleries and Artists

The Art Center of Bonita Springs - art classes, art exhibitions, and events

Jim Rice - Naples ceramic artist whose work can be seen nationally in American Craft Galleries - visit his studio and gallery for a unique Florida experience

WildChild Art Gallery - located on Matlacha Island - a bit of a drive but well worth it - a large gallery of local artist's works - check for events also

Survey Cafe - charming cafe to walk or bike to - serving breakfast and lunch

Ristorante Farfalla - upscale Italian - authentic Italian dishes

Lansdowne Street - restaurant and bar for Red Sox fans - great food, lobster, ambience

Randy's Seafood Market and Restaurant - great place to buy your seafood or eat there

Roy's - Hawaiian Fusion cuisine

Buffalo Chips - a local hang out - good wings - fun

Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grille - a bit of a drive but worth it
